lacey dianea rain-stained lullaby "can you hear that sound? that's my heart slowly breaking. all your lies and backward glances left me with constant aching. after i poured out my very soul to you and yet you still walked away. now here i am lying on this pavement with no words to make you stay. as the tears burn down my cheek and rain pierces into my back, a shadow creeps over my face to shield me away into the deep black. although my vision was blurred and stained with deceit, his eyes glowed with an immaculate hue that were impossible not to meet. he fished for my hand, gently caressed it with such affection. then saw right through my mask that had placed an immense affliction. the longer i gazed, the more lost i became. he never let go of my hand that night, he remained just the same. for the first time, i felt worthy, loved, cared for. this stranger who knew nothing about me, had me entranced like no one else before. i didn't want the night to end, the sun could forever stay away. and yet the great star rose through the clouds and unveiled the scene that laid now today. the lightened rays shot all around and soon grabbed his face. they revealed familiar features that soon took hold of my memories and began to trace. i now understand why he helped my so. he was my very best friend, who stood beside me from long ago. who would have thought that this gentleman was acually next to me all along? i suppose it took someone before him, to hurt me and leave me begging to belong." -L.D.C.get your own layout here.
