BIOGRAPHY:
Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, Johnik (Niklas Johansson) made his way through life with a profound passion for music. His interest grew in 1997 when he came across some of the earliest production software for computers and first started to produce his own music. Johnik had just discovered drum n bass, so his choice to make fast, hard dance-inspired music was natural. Quickly, he won a few production competitions on the internet and got the confidence he needed to take his craft more seriously. Over time, his style flourished, taking him away from the confines of drum n bass and towards jazzier trip-hop vibes. Today, in 2008, Johnik stands as an accomplished and talented producer most known for his work with hiphop and r&b whose name has appeared on albums released both nationally and internationally.
