About Me

My name is Shanel, I am a married 29 year old female with 2 wonderful kids, 3 dogs, and a Quaker bird who loves to talk trash. I moved to Alabama August 2000. We moved from Illinois. I was born in Buffalo New York, but spent 10 years between Florida and Texas. I went to grade school in Bureau and High School in Peoria. After High School I married and had my first child, a boy...Cole. My parents and sister decided to move to Mobile. My then husband and I took Cole and moved here also. In 2003 my then husband and I went our own way. I met Nash and had my daughter Amelia in 2003. Nash and I were married April 2005. Things are great. I went back to school after almost 10 years to become an EMT. I do not work I am able to stay home with Amelia. Although I could if needed or wanted to. Nash is part owner of a Company in Fairhope Alabama. His company builds Concrete homes and commercial properties from Tallahassee to the Alabama Mississippi state line. Life is great. If you knew me in HS then you know that I am a sweet person if I like you that is just don't piss me off. I am still the same as I was back then, just in a different state.

My Interests

I love working with Children in the Fire Prevention program with my Fire Department, I am in the Axillary, I am an EMT and Nash a Lt. in the Fire Department, I love to help and work with people in need, even though at times I just don't like people. Everyone says I am a people person, but I just don't see it. There are only a select few that I really like....the other's I just put up with. WAR EAGLE

I'd like to meet:

To be honest, there really isn't too many people I would like to meet that I haven't met already. Oh sure there are old friends that I would love to see again, but no one new as of right now anyway.

Music:

I love County Music. I know some people say it sucks and can be depressing, but I still love it. Trace said it the best in one of his song's, "There just songs about me and who I am."

Movies:

The movie I love the most is Who's minding the mint. Its a very old movie that most people dont know about. I like a lot of different kinds so its hard to say. The last movie I seen was Delta Farce.

Television:

I like to watch Reality TV, helps to take my mind off my world for a min or two. You name it I have more than likely seen it and forced Nash to watch it as well.

Books:

I like to read romance books and books about family history. I have a new book that I am trying to read about my Family written in 1932 but it is very dry and boring so I have stopped reading as of right now.

Heroes:

My heroes are most of all my husband, then all the women in my family. That includes my Mom, Grandmother's, Sister, Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law, my closest girlfriend Bekah, and so on down the line.
