bonedust

bonedust was formed in 1992 in Los Angeles, CA at Musicians Institute. The four members were attending school together and shared an interest in making something different. At the time, Metal had just started to give way to Grunge and there weren't allot of great bands doing even close to complex music. bonedust decided to fill a niche that wasn't really there. The band proceeded to put songs together that were musically challenging, yet well written and lyrically compelling. The result was the Wrath cd.Originally recorded in 1995, this disc was a few years ahead of it's time in many respects. The many time/tempo changes, mixed with varying harmonic diversions, kept the musicians in the audience interested and the heavier straight-forward grooves kept the metal-heads moshing.After much local/regional success, and extensive gigging the band decided to seperate to pursue individual passions.In 2005, the Wrath album was mixed and mastered for re-release. What you are listening to are selections from that re-release.
