I am a friend of Dr. Manette and Lucie Manette (now Lucie Darnay after her marriage to Charles Darnay...mysterious man), often meeting them along with Mr. Carton and Ms. Pross at their ouse in a small part of Soho. Mr. Stryver stopped visitin after his proposal to Miss. Manette did not come out as planned.
