RIPPERTRAIN was formed March 2001 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada). Two of the founding members Patrick O'Handley (vocals, lead guitar) and Guy "Ike" Perrin (lead guitar & vocals) have already played together in a previous band called 67 Ride. Sean "Henry" Richard (bass, vocals) and Trent Michayluk (drums, percussions, vocals) who just recently joined RipperTrain in 2005 replacing Ben "Slim" Wanner complete the foursome.4 | | | REQUEST RIPPERTRAIN HERE | | | 3

Influences: Pat's inspiration comes from the southern influenced music of CCR, Lynard Skynard and the Georgia Satellites. The hard rock of AC/DC, Metallica, Motley Crue have also helped Pat to shape RipperTrain's heavy sound.
Sounds Like: classic rock with progressive, rhythmic melodies.Utilizing Bayou style stomp and shout blues with low, heavy rhythms (like a train), the band has created a sound they call "southern metal".
