OUR STORY: Metatron Audio productions studio is based out of North Philly. It has been around since the early 80's. It's original name was Top Secret Productions, and was started by Dj Tony Tee. Dj Tony Tee was one of the hottest DJs in North Philly in the 80s, winning many battles with his style of combining Freestyle music and Hip-Hop with what is now referred to as turntablism. He spun in the hottest clubs in the Philadelphia and surrounding area in the 80's. He began teaching his two brothers, Dj Storm & Dj Tazz, as well as one of his younger cousins, Dj Almighty how to spin. With another older cousin Hightower helping to promote them, they became a dominating force on the DJ circuit in the mid to late 80's. But as they say ... all good things have to come to an end. Eventually problems began to develop within the ranks causing the breakup up Top Secret Productions. Enter the 1990's...In the early 90's, Dj Tony Tee returned to Philadelphia, and began spinning again. But wanting to distance himself from the problems of the past, he changed his name to Dj Tee One, and changed the company name "Top Secret Productions" to JAM 2 DIS Productions. He worked alone in smaller local clubs throughout the 90's, and stopped spinning altogether in 2000. During that same period, Dj Almighty was spinning in many of the top clubs in New Jersey. Besides winning numerous DJ battles, he developed a new talent... battle rap, and began winning rap battles as well. In 2002, Dj Tee One was reunited with Dj Almighty for the first time since 1988. To his surprise, Almighty was still spinning, and had improved dramatically! The student had truly surpassed the teacher. So in 2003, they combined their talents once again, and put together a recording studio called Metatron Audio Productions as well as an independent record label, Jam 2 Dis Records in 2006. Now together with hip-hop producer NOVA, they are again a true force to be reckoned with! Doing everything including remixes, edits and producing.
