I'm an emcee not a rapper. how many times do cats use this line when describing their abilities on the microphone? Seriously, I'm a lyrisist. I sing as well. I look up to the greats like, KRS-1, Rakim Nas, Freddie(Bumpy Knuckles) Foxxx, L.L. Cool J, Ice Cube, Scar Face, Slick Rick, you know, great story tellers and ill spitters. I take pride in being able to paint visuals with the lyrics. With that being said, I'm born into this music so it wasn't anything to soak in what was constantly around. I'm a producer as well so you know I'm feeling Dr. Dre, J Dilla (R.I.P ), Timbaland, all the dope producers and beatmakers.
