A Fabulous Diva in the Making

About Me

So, about me...I always try to have a ton of fun wherever I am...I'm really really goofy and I love making people laugh. It's not uncommon for me to do something totally and completely ridiculous just to get a smile on someone's face...when people are happy, things are good. I'm very serious, however, about my future plans...I'm a singer and I really want to perform for a living! Whether it's musical theatre or opera or even sexy jazz (think me in a hot red dress on a piano...lol), I love it all and I kind of want to do it all. Umm, other random facts - I can't cook really well (teach me?), I love sitting outside in the grass and reading a good book, I love animals (I have cats at my parents house in Orlando, but I really want a dog someday too), I dabble in photography, I don't watch a lot of tv, I'm currently trying to develop an appreciation for wine (mostly just the cheap red stuff...kidding), I fiercely love and protect those close to me, I love words (spelling them, knowing random stuff about them, using big ones...), and I think thunderstorms are sexy, naps a blessing, and music my life! If there's anything else you want to know, just ask! =o)

My Interests

God, musicals, opera, singing, acting, dancing, movie nights, shopping, corsets, massage, art, literature, nice pens, cell phones, blue things, free alcohol, staying up really late, SLEEPING, purple things, hanging out with friends, parties in the Jungle Room at Castle Weppelmann, lovely men, Haydn, Brahms, Cecilia Bartoli, Puccini, Rossini, Mozart, Jake Heggie, Verdi, Wagner, Debussy, Ravel, Degas, Monet, impressionism (the music and the art), black & white photography, laughing, scarves, soft things, gargoyles, pea coats, sprigs, temples, poetry, perfume, glitter, lip gloss, Jason Robert Brown, iPods, fluffy comforters, pillows, afternoon naps, lazy Sundays, making ridiculously crazy movies with friends, candles, photo shoots, stuffed animals, blasting music in my car, performing (ANYWHERE!), giggling, baths, prancing and splashing about in the rain, kitties, feather boas, writing poetry, tickle fights, words

I'd like to meet:

someone I could be with for a while. Also, fun people who are open-minded and drama free are always awesome! =o)

Music:

i have over 11,000 different songs on iTunes: a lot of musicals (Rent, Hairspray, The Lion King, Little Women, Wicked, tick tick BOOM!, Songs for a New World, Parade, The Last Five Years, Sweeney Todd, etc.), an assortment of operas, a lot of rock (all kinds), a lot of The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Tori Amos, Dave Matthews, Green Day, Keane, Maroon 5, Five for Fighting, Diana Krall, Sarah McLachlan, not counting a lot of techno mixes, (from when i used to go out to clubs a lot), and Fischerspooner, The Prodigy, and Miss Kitten & the Hackers, and then of course there's the classical music of Mozart, Beethoven, Griffes, Vivaldi, Debussy and my beloved Chopin...it's really quite eclectic!

Heroes:

my only hero is my Mom! she went through hell raising her first child (my half-brother) by herself, but she persevered and found another man to take care of her, so she decided to have three more kids! she is a constant source of encouragement, an inspiration and is definitely the heart of my family. plus, she's the most adorable Mom in the whole world...
