Love is giving someone the ability to hurt you... but trusting them not to.

After I graduated, I moved to Birmingham. I met my husband, got married a few months later. I got pregnant and moved to Pell City. Then I stayed on bed rest for 8 months. Then me and the baby almost died while I was having him. After being in the hospital for a week, I went home with the most amazing, beautiful thing I have ever seen. And I am still amazed every day by how dumb I was for thinking anything I did before I had him was important at all. Nothing compares. Nothing else matters, and since I know what I know now, nothing else ever did matter. I just thought it did. For all the people that can't grow up, have a baby. If that doesn't put you on the right track, nothing will. It's awesome. Then my husband and I bought a tattoo shop in Southside. After two years of being married, we separated. We don't hate each other. We just can't live together right now. So I moved back to Oneonta, which is where I live now with my beautiful little man.Other than the baby stuff, I'm pretty much normal. I love to laugh. I hate being in a bad mood, and I hate people that are always in a bad mood. That is no way to live. I don't really go out a lot. I'm not opposed to it, but I don't have a lot of time. Other than that, there's not really alot to say.

My Interests

Love to spend time with my kid. He's great. The best thing ever. Love to ride horses. Love to get tattooed and pierced. And still like to hang out with a lot of the people I went to school with. Whether we're doing nothing or going out.

I'd like to meet:

Adam and Eve - I'd love to slap that bitch down for eating that apple. Anyone that's been through childbirth knows what I'm talking about. And I even had a cesarean. It still hurts. And with the way men were back then, he should've kept a better check on his woman and slapped her himself for even thinking about eating it. I'd like to whip his ass too.

Music:

I like mostly alternatve. A lot of Bush, 311, Nirvana, Fuel, Tonic, Staind... tons of 90's music. On that note, I just had a revelation a couple of weeks ago that it actually IS now considered 90's music. When did that happen? And chick bands. Garbage, Hole, Kitty... I love chicks who can rock out and look good doing it. I really don't listen to rap or hip-hop at all. And old country. And depending on what kind of mood I'm in, I like some Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, As I Lay Dying... stuff to listen to when you're mad.

Movies:

I'm a big oldies fan on movies: Tommy Boy, Major Payne, Dumb & Dumber... you can't go wrong with those. And the classic horrors: Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers... all really good. Some of the newer stuff is okay. I love cartoons. Any of them except anime. I still watch Bugs Bunny, Ninja Turtles, X - Men, and lots of other old stuff. But Family Guy is the best.

Television:

FRIENDS! Nothing wll ever top that. The only other thing I watch is Nip/Tuck. Who can resist hot guys, hot girls, fast cars and crazy people? And if I'm up really late at night, I watch sitcoms that run late. Nothing else is on.

Books:

One of my favorite sets of books are The Chronicles of Narnia. The whole series is great. Shel Silverstein is also a great writer. Even though it's kids stuff, he's really funny. I also love Stephen King and Anne Rice. I just like to read. Always have. I can read the most boring book ever. I might think I wasted lots of time at the end of it, but I can still make it through.

Heroes:

As cliche as it sounds, my heroes really are my parents. They've put up with a lot of crap and managed to stay sane through it all. My mom really does know everything. Well, almost. If she doesn't, my grandmother does. My dad thinks he knows everything. He's awesome anyway. You know how there are the few people that would do anything for you no matter what? That's my dad. No matter what's going on. He's the best ever. People that work in daycares and like it are also my heroes. Now that I have a kid, I really don't understand how they do it. Oh, and the military. That takes guts. I couldn't leave my family behind and do what they do, so THANKS! to all of them. My dad, grandpa, uncle... everyone was there. So lots of respect. And my fave animal is a hippo.
