**THE BIOGRAPHY OF MAG.B ****************************************It’s Feb 18, 1984, and Michelle Renae Boisseau is going into labor with her son Jarad. Michelle whom is very intelligent and full of spark, is sure that she’ll raise a child the world would look upon as a scholar and a gentlemen. For now the picture looks good, almost too good. Michelle without a father figure for her son is maintaining a stable life for the two. It isn’t until the late 80’S when the stress would take its’ toll. Michelle now found herself battling with her drug addiction and raising her now 4yr. old son. In 1990 the “addiction†won! Michelle would soon leave her son in the care of Mary Taylor, who would take him in as her own grandson. Michelle would return into Jarad’s life 3 more times, never to stay, and usually after serving jail time. The final time came January 21, 1992 when she abandoned his Baby sister Greona Boisseau in the same Manner, with the same people.
Born and raised in the desolate streets of Trenton New Jersey Jarad had it rough equally physically and emotionally. Despite the turmoil in his past jarad honed is skill as an all-star basketball player in his city and neighboring areas. Taking with him where ever he went his love for music, especially 80’s music. “The 80’s where good for me, It was my most normal time, and the music is more like the sound track to the good life.†Jarad, who is now 14 and has taken the name Magic from his uncle a former 5% man. Who didn’t rap yet was the most popular Street icon he knew or who’s story he could relate. As Hoop Dreams faded Street Dreams became more vivid, and Magic now an active member of the streets finds sanity in song writing.By the 11th grade it was evident that music was the only way out for Jarad. Stardom seemed to fit the now 17 year old self proclaimed rapper. While attending Hamilton High West Jarad now Magic or Mag-B formed a group with partner Bobby Joseph a.k.a DuBB. The two would later name their group the “Murda1Cliqueâ€. As their popularity grew Murda1Clique became a house hold name in Trenton and started reaching its’ way into other cities. In 2003 DramaVille Entertainment was established. (This time without previous partner Bobby Joseph, yet the two still cooperated on decision making from time to time.)
At this point there was no turning back. DramaVille Ent. was on the rise Magic and his organization were the next thing. With one problem there were no outlets in New Jersey for aspiring artist. As time passed Magic created a huge arsenal of lyrical ammunition and a large library of compilation Mix-tapes. The Murda1 Mix-tapes as well as street battles helped give the record company its’ funding as well as credibility to maintain.
Present day Mag-B is a very hard worker and a loving father, trying to break the cycle of neglectful parents in his family. Still working diligently in the studio, the 23 year old artists name recently appeared on Byrd-Gang recording artist Stack Bundles Street album “My Life Is Like A Movieâ€. After receiving a spot on a major Mix-tape Magic is continuing to land feature positions on both Major and local Dj’s mix-tapes. His love for his craft has even had him receive numerous original beats. Some of which were from some of today’s talented up and coming Producers, such as Ty-Trackz of OOHWay Entertainment. ( producer of “Harlem Street Blues†on Camron’s Purple Haze Album, and “Picture Perfect†for J.R Writer, both Diplomat recording artists) as well as Mercury of Flatline Entertainment. ( producer of “Don’t Push Me Away†on Jim Jones’s Hustlers P.O.M.E and “No Day Off “ for Juelz Santana again both Diplomat recording artist). As for now Magic has intentions on putting out a street album of his own, to be shopped to labels on his quest for fame. Still without major backing, funding, or management Mag-b is determined to make his dream a reality, and one Day sit amongst the Greats….Written By Jarad L.
