TV beckoned and earned the diminutive actress success in the award winning critically acclaimed BBC drama Bodies with Max Beasley (Hotel Babylon, Hustle), Keith Allen (Robin Hood, The Others) ,Banglatown Banquet alongside film star Shabana Azmi and Bafta Award winning two part drama film for Channel Four called ‘Britz’, which looks at the lives and times of British Asians in the UK, directed by acclaimed director Peter Kosminsky (White Oleander, Wuthering Heights).

In 2007 Preeya was specially called in by Andrew Lloyd Webber to sing for him to play the leading female in his hit revival of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The show opened at the Adelphi Theatre, The Strand, to rave reviews and continues to be a sell out show. Preeya’s passion for music is constant and she has been writing and recording with top producers Pete Martin and Labyrinth.
