Tarrell "Bamm" Lester has been playing since he was 5yrs old n still going strong. I have 2 beautiful little girls Aaliyah Shalise Lester & Alyssa Simone Lester. It all began in my g-ma kitchen I would always pull out her pots and pans wit da lids as cymbals and her spoons or pencils as sticks she didnt wanna stop me from doin that because she knew one day it would pay off but she wasnt gonna let me mess up her brand new pots either so she told my grandfatha to get me a toy kit which didnt last but a month because I was destructive then my motha started taking me to rehersals in Brooklyn where she sang on Love Fellowship Crusade Choir where I realized that playing drums was what I wanted to do from there we went to the blessing center in Roosevelt,L.I where my Uncle Adrian "Ace" Lester played kit, and Johnny Walker played kit as well as keys. As the years went along I learned more and more and for a while nobody thought I could really play so while attending The Blessing Center we met Damon Sessions (who is now my Bishop) we began to go to what use to be Sessions Tabernacle when Bishop Charles D. Sessions was presiding Bishop now goes under Greater Sessions Cathedral I would play the Congos/Bongos playing wit Vander Sessions, Stephen Gibson ,Robert McIntosh ,and Lemuel Sharp all the drummers that played for Sessions but I jus absorbed all that they put out and finally decided to put all that I learned together and finally came up wit my own style once i started playing at Sessions I havent pulled away yet i have gotten offers to go on tours and play for some well known artist and some other underground artist. Now im 23yrs old and still banging so now I have took the name "Bamm" on and it fits quite well lol but to all my fellow drummers and musician friends stay blessed and do what u do best use your God given talent.....
