Like any other ministry in the world, St. Philomena Youth Choir has had its ups and downs. St. Philomena Choir began in September of 2003. It began when there were 2 Youth Choirs @ St. Philomena. Youth Ministry & Love&Faith. Both choirs had the same goal, same passion, and same responsibilities. It wasnt until Peter Malufau & Noel Nini stepped in together to break the barrier between Youth Ministry & Love&Faith. After singing together for the very first time, both ministries decided to join together as one choir forming what is now the Parish Youth Choir of St. Philomena. Through the years, the choir has struggled but has gained it's composure and are back on their feet. They bring a joyful sound to the Celebration of the Eucharist (Mass!). The choir continues to pray together as they ask God to use them as His instruments to lift up His Holy Name in Praise & Worship. Discipline, Hope, Trust, Unity, and Love is what brings this choir together. ask any member for yourself!!!

This is Glenn here with your St. Philomena Youth Choir News Update...
There is choir practice this Saturday, November 10, 2008. We will continue with our Christmas Mass Practice plus our normal practice for third Sunday mass. This practice is open to everyone!! So invite all!! Please continue to pray for youth choir and its core team members.
Note: These comments should ONLY be REMINDERS. Being a member of youth choir, we should all know that choir practice is every Saturday, and it now starts at 3PM. Contacts should only be made when there is a dire need too, such as cancellations of practice, etc.
If you can not make it to choir practice for any reason, please notify us out of courtesy. Thank you for those who notify us.
Choir Reps: Be ready to present revival and outing proposals.
Please invite your friends or anyone you know that is interested in joining youth choir who would like to be an instrumentalist [guitar, base, piano, drums, etc]. If they know the basics and if they are committed in learning and staying with Youth Choir, Noel will be more than glad to teach them how to play. Also, please invite vocalists.
Let us continue to grow spiritually and physically. Please do your part and extend your hand to those willing to join Youth Choir. Come on now, â€WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!â€
