I am also a film composer as well, and have scored the music for many independent films. Magic, it grows in all of us
burns and flows in our blood
surging riptides of emotion
harnessing our gifts of illusion
the pain drifts away
being brought closer to the sun
our triumph
our years of toil overcome by the dream
In silence we pray
build our pyramids
sleep in blankets of lies
only to then realize
the truth is our magic
stirring in reclusion
waiting to be poured out
like fear overcoming our senses
the flash of exctasy sustained
only for a fleeting moment of
pathic brilliance
and then gone for eternity.
