I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4His music basicaly has atmospheric feelings of eroticism, nostalgia and romanticism by mixing the electronic sounds of keyboards with rock influenced ( Electric guitar, bass and drums). ORUS also uses classical instruments like the piano, flute, violin, viola and the cello. His performances mix music and dance with passion and existentialism.The influence for most of ORUS's music bands from the from the early 1980s that play New Wave, Synth Pop, punk and Goth Rock genres.Music career
Orus began his music career at the Escuela Popular de Arte ("Popular School of Arts") of Medellin, later he studied in the Universidad de Antioquia ("Antioquia University"), where he chose to learn the guitar as his instrument.His debut was in December of 2000 at a concert in the Casa de la Cultura ("House of Culture") in Bello, Antioquia, accompanied by his group athe the time that consisted of; Carlos Arturo Hoyos (guitar), Javier Velasquez (guitar), Alex Cardona [bass), Mauricio Jimenez (keyboard), Luis Madrid (drums) and was also accompanied in this concert by part of the Sinfonica Juvenil de Medellin ("Young Symphonic Orchestra of Medelln") and Lina Alvarez (vocals).Since then, he has composed music for theater performances, fashion shows and experimental videos. He has been a moderator in different TV channels of Medellin and instructor in academic activities such as rock music seminaries.In 2005 he participated in the album Fetiche by Radiosonica
