Hey! ‘Sup?! They call me Prym; I’m 27 and a native of San Antonio. I grew up around the entertainment / music business and I have been “spinning fire†with a major passion in the San Antonio–Austin area clubs, at raves, and private parties for most of this century. As an artist I became known as Sinder when I was performing with my mentors in one of San Antonio’s premier fire poi acts, the Brothers of the Flame. Later I created and performed with my own fire dance team called Prymal Fire; so there’s where the name comes from. I continue to study the art, trying to improve my style and performance. I also enjoy teaching the art of poi. Now as a solo artist and with my apprentice, El Nómada del Fuego, I can also flash the audience with state-of-the-art glow sticks as a part of my show, (or when building or fire codes prohibit the use of open flames).
