Since 2002, Originating in Waco, Texas, Rusty Road has been playing all over central Texas in cities such as Austin, Dallas, College Station, and Waco and surrounding towns like Marlin, West, Mexia, Cameron, and more. You can find Rusty Road at local venues and honky-tonks, charity benefits, weddings, and anywhere else someone will let them play! Lead Guitar player Isaac Martinez said "it's not always about the money...", "We know we've got to pay our dues like everyone else, so we play to be heard." Rusty Road spent some time in Nashville playing at venues such as Hobo Joe's, Legend's Bar, The Comador, Player's Club, 12th and Porter, Tootsies, Two Doors Down, and more. It's been experiences like these and the willingness of the band to do "whatever it takes" that has confirmed their belief that they can produce a sound that will be strong enough to be heard. There's a lot of other bands out there, but what really sets them apart from the rest, according to Russell Daily (lead singer), is their "raw sound and story telling lyrics." Their True Roots and Americana sound remind us of what we all know to be true... It's all about the music. There's no fairytale here, just five hard workin' guys who love to play.
