Hailing from the birthplace of thrash - San Francisco - BBR has reached into the depths of this explosive genre to rejuvenate a seemingly lifeless scene. Thrash, through and through, with a modern twist of extremity. Our one goal: to brutalize the masses and get people moving.
Originating from the demented minds of Mike Franov, Ryan Ellery and Dave Garcia, BBR emits unparalleled energy and destroys all that stands in the path of progress. Soon after their formation, a vital piece was found in Jose Perez, who added a much-needed low end attack to duel with the twin-guitar assault of Mike Franov and Dave Garcia and complement the syncopated skinbashing of Ryan Ellery. Still seeking that brutal frontman to complete the group, the band found Jacob Martin-Wagner, a young and talented vocalist who brought infernal lyrics, a fresh outlook and an even heavier edge to an already unrelenting force. With unrivaled power, BBR has broken onto the scene with merciless energy in their live shows and solid thrash coming straight from the heart - proving that Bay Area thrash is thriving once again.
In early 2009, BBR recorded an EP that is currently in the process of being mixed and mastered - to be released soon. We are also in the process of booking shows for the year.
