Bruin Pint Night is a Tuesday Night tradition that started at Stratton's Grille on Broxton in Westwood in the late 90's. With $2.00 Pints, Hip Hop and dancing, it quickly became the hottest college night in Los Angeles.
While most of the patrons were affiliated with UCLA, USC and other local universities would chill at Bruin Pint Night on the DL because it was and remains, L.A's premier College Night Promotion. At the time the way the drinks worked was, you'd buy a glass for $5.00 then each refill was $2.00. Stratton's became Madison's and the tradition continued.
When Madison's closed in 2001, Bruin Pint Night moved to El Dorado and was off the chain for 3 years. In 2005 El Dorado was sold to become a Sushi Bar and this was the beginning of a year of transition for BPN with nights going at Space in Santa Monica, then back to El Dorado and Space.
In the spring of 2006, Bruin Pint Night returned by popular demand to Busby's just one block into Santa Monica from West Los Angeles. It's about 2 miles from the UCLA campus. The tradition continues with the best price in Los Angeles for pints, $2.50!
ALL PINTS, STELLA, NEWCASTLE, HEINEKEN, BASS ALE, HEFEWIEZEN, MILLER LIGHT, AMSTEL LIGHT AND CORONA ALL FOR $2.50!
Bruin Pint Night at Busby's also features L.A.'s top DJ's spinning the latest in Hip Hop and Rare Grooves and provides the Best Dancing closest to Westwood!
