There is a reason why Charissa Lonshae Varrie is one of the most sought after gospel music artists of today. Affectionately known as ‘Shae’, she is a skilled Music Minister that understands the flow of the Spirit. Charissa Varrie is the proud wife of Emery M. Varrie II and pround mother of Emery M. Varrie III & Nathan Ledel Varrie, she endeavors to give people of all ages and races a message of truth through song that addresses real life experiences, and gives hope to all. Growing up in the church, she realized her gifting to sing at a young age. Shae sung in the choir as a child and as her relationship with the Lord grew, she was asked to be apart of the Praise and Worship Team at Metropolitan Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Pastor James Jones. She now attends New Hope F.G.B.C., under the leadership of Bishop David Cooper and currently serves as assistant worship leader on the Praise and Worship team. Her solid experience and skills allow her to be utilized in efforts to provide the best possible service in regards to her position. Charissa has been granted the opportunity of working with and/or singing for such artist as: Bishop Paul S. Morton, Byron Cage, Donnie Mc Clurkin, Desmond Pringle, Vicki Winans, Walt Whitman, Mark S. Hubbard, Stephanie Dotson, Rosalind Sanders-Jones, Sonya Barry and many more.
