I love all sports, but mostly football and baseball are what I follow. I like to play softball when I can. I have been playing ball since I was 5 years old. I really am up for any kind of physical activity that gets me out of the house and working up a sweat. I like going to the movies and I love game night around the kitchen table. Taboo or Trival Pursuit anyone?
Anyone who knows me knows that this will never happen:
I am a child of the 80's so of course I love 80's music! I also love older light alternative bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, Erasure and The Stone Roses. I really will listen to anything except Hard Metal where it sounds like a guy barking into the microphone! I really love going to see a great band live in a small venue. Anyone out there a fan of The Connells? Let me know!
..
I am definately not a fan of reality TV, but I did get hooked on Flavor of Love on VH1!! You will usually find me checking ESPN, or watching Lost on Wednesday nights. I don't go out of my way really to watch any certain show.
I enjoy reading books by Stephen King and James Patterson. I really loved the book I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb also. I read US Today almost everyday, love the gossip page in the Life section and of course I have to check the scores in the Sports section.
My friend Theresa is one of my heros. She put herself through school twice, has a great job as a physicians assistant and now has a wonderful son. She made everything happen in her life that she wanted and I am so proud of her for that. I also have a friend who just went to Malaysia for six months to teach children there about conservation and survival skills. I would never have the guts to pack up like that and go some place so foreign where I couldn't really communicate with the people. I am in awe of her everytime she sends me pictures or an e-mail.
