.. .. I grew up between Birmingham, UK and Galway, Ireland in the seventies/eighties having a wonderful time loving music and dreaming of living in Los Angeles. Then along came the nineties and music grew darker and then dried up and I seemed to spend the next few years drifting living in Bristol, London and finally Bedfordshire and working as an editor in London. Actually I'm making it seem more bland than it was, there were some hi-lights - touring Australia with my partner's band with a slot in Wogga Wogga's annual death metal festival stands out. As does John Cleese shouting at me for not stocking more copies of his wife's book (it seemed much funnier when he did it to Manuel). Music seems to have come full circle and I'm wondering where the years went and why I am always so slack at keeping in touch with old friends. This year I'm aiming to get back in touch. .. ..
