Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once. - Bill Shakes

About Me

And here you land in my little corner of the web. Settle in and grab a beer. This life'll drive you nuts if you let it. Luckily for me, I'm already there. Here's a little about me:I've been in the military for a long time now. I still enjoy it or I wouldn't be doing it.I'm a huge technology/gaming/computer nerd. Always have been. Old habits die hard.I'm a guitar player. Love it. Love music history as well, and will go on about it to no end.I absolutely LOVE music. Primarily into classic rock and metal, but I've got an open mind to all sorts of music. You never know where inspiration is gonna come from. I've played guitar for a few years now, and it's one of my favorite past times. There's alway something to learn or work on, and it's one of the few things in life that you can truly get better at everytime you do it. Some of my greatest musical influences are Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde and the Black Label Society, Pantera, Zepplin, Metallica, AC/DC, the Doors, and a whole host of others. Rest in Peace, Dimebag Darrell.

My Interests

I love music! Classic rock and metal are my bread and butter, but I've got an appreciation for just about any kind of music.I'm always interested in anything that has to do with computers and technology. Gadgets, video games, tech gear, anything like that.I've been playing guitar for a few years now, and absolutely love it. I play acoustic or electric, and currently own about 8 guitars.

I'd like to meet:

Well, here's what I'm into in people: A good sense of humor (this includes the ability to laugh at yourself!), honesty (brutally if need be), straight-forwardness, friendliness, people who like to relax and have a good time. What I'm NOT into: Deceit, indecisiveness, ego, moochers, users, and bullshit artists.Simple enough?

Music:

One of my favorite subjects! Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, Zepplin, Pantera, Alice In Chains....you name it, I probably like it. I also enjoy a few country bands, and have a little interest in electronic music.

Movies:

I'm into lots of older movies, but recent new ones I've seen are IronMan, Rambo, and Hitman. Favorite actors? Paul Giamati, Edward Norton, Jeff Bridges. Favorite actresses? Monica Belluci, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Ricci.

Television:

I watch a lot of stuff on A & E: Cold Case Files, Inside the Actor's Studio or anything that makes me work my brain a little. Also, the BOONDOCKS!

Books:

I mostly read music books. Big surprise huh?

Heroes:

There are quite a few people I look up to, because they have qualities that I aspire to....Guitar players: The late great Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Jerry Cantrell and Jimmy Page.People I've worked with: Chief Master Sergeant Benjamin Harper, Lieutenant Colonel JJ Hogan. My brothers and sisters worldwide in the profession of arms who put themselves in harm's way every day so that you and I may sleep soundly at night.
