It was amusing that I met another writer who shared my fascination for the concept of time. In my case, it began as a fun pass-time, to see time pass by as I stared at my grandfather's pocketwatch. I would steal his pocketwatch whenever I could and simply watch time tick and tock, absolutely wasting my days. I then would set up different clocks adjusted to different times in one room just to watch time take its wonderful and admiring toll. THE SET UP. Then a trip outside my door revealed that time elsewhere in the world was all the same and particular. THE BIG EVENT. Things went from bad to worse as I started missing doctor's appointments, school, friends and my favourite T.V. shows. I couldn't even keep track of which alarm clock to wake up to since I had so many. PLOT COMPLICATIONS. Until the THE CRISIS MOMENT, when my own instincts told me that I had to get out and participate with the real world or stay in my own distorted room. I made the agonizing decision to give up the "real world". This is myworld. I'm happy not anticipting recurring events and simply watching time pass me by. RESOLUTION.
I do not know much about myself. I feel my inner child might be angered at me for what I have become, or he might love it. What have I become? I am not sure, but in interpreting that answer, I can tell you what I'd like to be: An inspiration, a visionary, a prolific writer and an idea. Perchance that says something about what I am in the time of writing this. [4.23.09] The world does not revolve around the Sun. Instead, it revolves around the only life forms inhabiting the Earth (we all know every other creature that is not human is obviously less intelligent and therefore, not important), and if the human race were to ever seize to live, so would the Universe. After all, what exactly is the Universe but our only understanding of it?
