This was in late 1995, and although he'd already joined Skynyrd, Rickey did do the remaining dates that he had on Blackfoot. Somehow, it really did make those last few weeks quite a bit more special. Al Nalli, Rickey's producer, manager and business partner of over 25 years, brought producer/engineer Rob Robinson down from his own Subterranean studios in Ann Arbor Michigan and they combined efforts to start Studio Sea from the ground up. Since the studio has opened, it has operated primarily as a private recording and production facility, however in recent years, the doors have opened up to include not only Lynyrd Skynyrd, but such notable artists as Styx, William Shatner, Kid Rock and some lesser known but amazing talents like The Mike Rogers Band, Zona, and most recently A200. All in all, Studio Sea and its personnel have achieved Gold and Platinum status many, many times.
