REMEMBER ME
This is a project about life and death. Flowers tied on lamp posts, raillings and trees mark the site of someone's death (usually as a result of car accident but also of stabbing and shooting). These memorials are public manifestations of mourning and the purpose of this work is to find out what role these symbols of death play in everyday life; if (and how) they affect anonymous passersby and, at the same time, what new elements they introduce in our modern urban landscape.

THE FUN OF THE FAIR
Fun Fairs are not fun. Away from the sweet lightness of childhood memories daylight brings a reality of improbable locations and desolate characters.

THE SMOKING PORTRAITS
These are no easy times for those who smoke.
Since lung cancer and smoking were linked, governments (aided by anti smoking pressure groups) have been introducing increasingly restrictive measures culminating with the ban on smoking in public spaces.
As a new legion of brothers and sisters is forced to smoke outside we are witnessing the birth of a new community and a found new meaning for forgotten urban spaces - dark alleys, dirty fire exits and empty corners have been brought back to life through the murderous smoke of a cigarette.
Some of the portrayed don't smoke anymore, some will quit smoking in the future.
