About Me

I am a theatre freak, born in Oklahoma and raised in Los Angeles, which actually explains alot about me. I wish I was better at the things that I love and am always willing to learn from those who are willing to teach me. It takes me a while to make a good friend, but when I do, they're made for life. Loyalty is what I value most in people next only to honesty. My family and friends are the most important things in my life next to God, and I don't hesitate to defend them if need be. I write poetry that I don't show to anyone. If you want to read it, ask me (just be prepared that I'll probably say no unless you're unusually awesome). My life goals are simple and few: love my God, marry my soul-mate, raise my family and perfect my art, and I think I'm on the right track. I graduated with a BA in Theatre Performance in April 2008 and will be getting my MFA sooner rather than later (hopefully). I recently married the most incredible man in the world and he makes me happy every day. I am blessed.

TARA

Anglicized form of the Irish place name Teamhair, which possibly means "elevated place" in Gaelic. This was the name of the sacred hill near Dublin where the Irish high kings resided. Tara was also used as the name of the O'Hara plantation in the novel and movie 'Gone with the Wind'.

TARA is the #203 female name in the US.
