Christina Aguilera. I love her voice. Absolutely love it. Love her music. And honestly as a woman, I love her fearlessness and her stubbornness. She does what she wants and what she believes and puts in the hard work that makes it happen.

First and foremost always, The Bible. There really is no greater book.
My favorite author is C.S. Lewis. He has a wisdom and a way with words that you rarely see.
In general, I love reading books written so well that they humble you. That throughout them you continuely amazed at the storytelling and the use of the language in telling it. Books that afterwards, you walk away feeling like you could never write a book as well told as that...
Now, some favorite titles...
♦ "The Shadow of the Wind"
by Carlos Luiz Zafon
This book made me fall back in love with reading. Set in Barcelona in the 50s, this novel is amazingly atmospheric. It truly takes you to the story. I recommend it to every book lover out there.
♦ "The Devil in the White City"
by Erik Larson
This non-fiction book centers on Chicago and the World's Fair in 1893. It reads like a novel and is incredibly engrossing and very well written.
♦ "Gone with the Wind"
by Margaret Mitchell
I've read this book twice to date. One of the best books around.
♦ "A Grief Observed"
by C.S. Lewis
One of the most raw books you'll ever read.
My ever-loving and thoughtful husband. He helps me keep my sanity but also appreciates my insanity. He's my rock...
