M&M 2

Mario (Keyboards and Vocals) and Leo 'Morto' (Drums and Lead Vocals) are musicians from an old rock band from Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), called U.B.T.V. whose leader was the lead Singer and Guitar Player Francisco 'Chicao' Serra. The band managed to record two demo tapes ("Dont Bogart Me", 1995 e "U.B.T.V.", 1997) and also did several concerts in Niteroi. It only stoped its carrer because Chicao went to join the Brazilian Army in 1998. Nowadays, Francisco Serra is a movie director and projectionist.
Somewhere in 1996, during a U.B.T.V. rehearsal, some improvisations between Mario and Morto came up 'out of the blue', just when Chicao was up to find some guitar string set to substitute his own. Afterwards, listening to the tape recording of the rehearsal, Mario and Morto have find out that 'out of the blue' stuff of much interest, that it had its own life, and since then they kept playing that way:'out of the blue', in a parallel project called 'M&M', always recording those sessions on tape.
This was never meant to be a big project. In fact, only now that Mario and Morto are recording sessions on cd, and under pressure of friends requests, is that these tracks are been heard at all.
