About Me

"oH Oh! Ish Gyea Boi Baby Twinkiez!" Benjamin G. Khatt, nicknamed Baby Twinkiez, was born on October 2, 1989 in Oklahoma City, OK. Life for his family was filled with struggles and drama during the first three years when he was borned. Parents had to work long hours and had little time on their hands to take care of Twinkiez. He was raised by his grandparents instead. In 1992 the Khatt family moved to Worthington, MN where he was raised in a more wealthier neighborhood since his parents have found the jobs they were interested in with good pay. Music was passed on to him from his father's side of the family; his father was in a rock band in Oklahoma City. By the age of six, Twinkiez learned how to practice his vocals by singing karokee. From then on he strived to achieve reputation during his elementary school years. He wasn't gettin an audience at that time except for one special person and his family. Twinkiez's grandma has helped him walkthrough each and every step on the path way toward his music career. When he reached the middle school, the audience started to understand what he was trying to achieve and they respected his goal. Once working as a freestyle artist, he picked up a mic and started music with the group OCT (Outta Control Talent). They made their first appearance at Worthington Auditorium's Annual Winter Talent show in 2004. Their hit song "Goodbye" influence all of the young lovers within the town. Being impressed by the works of the artists, they were supported to make a cd album which released in Spring 2005. In Summer 2006, the group had been divided due to schedules and individual goals, the musicians had the experiences from the steps it takes and still is being climbed on now.
As the years gone by, his skills as a hip/hop artist increased significantly throughout his career. In 2004-2005 Twinkiez successfully delivered his first hit album "I'm Waiting". From that moment, he accomplished one of his goals as becoming a signed artist. Now in 2005-2006 he has just released his second album "Murdasoda". The hit tracks from the album includes: "How You Work It (Boom)", "507 Murda", and "If I Ever".
At the Praire Winds Arts Festival in Summer 2006, Twinkiez started producing his own beats and performed "Wut It Do?" live at the festival. The beat consist of old school 80's rock instruments and synthesisers to create the up, catchy rhythm. First time as an actual producer, he decided to move a notch up into the DJ gigs and beat making added to his career.
In Winter 2006 Twinkiez held a showcase at a Winter Formal and performed "Lean Like This ft. Shy" and "Git Yur Stunna Shades On"- Also considered a top chart in the regions music board. The crowd certainly went wild; they all flipped out their stunna glasses, gettin hyph by the chorus. Most of his fans questioned when is his new album going to drop!? But for the meantime there isn't a definite answer.
Twinkiez is motivated by his fans and is assured to make his career as a hip/hop artist expand worldwide. He manages his time between school and music in order to complete his two main goals, to graduate and get signed . At this time it seems as if he's living it well, but his mother is also struggling from her current job as a Swift worker (Meat Packing Ind.). Twinkiez is now trying his hardest to adapt to the audience's interest in music and attract them into listening. Quoted by Twinkiez himself he said "I'm just trying to survive into the real world. I want my parents to live their dream and I want to live mine. And that will all come from my music ."
In August 2007 he decided to hop back into the lab and cook up more music after a long disappearance since March. Newest hits voted by popular demands include "Everytime" and "What It's Like w/ Jay Lanell". The mixtape "Lyrically Impressive" will combine all of Twinkiez's works from the year '06 up to now. Trying to manage his time efficiently, he's booked in school clubs and performance gigs. He hopes to find days when he could actually use the word "relax". Recently Twinkiez been meeting with other MN artists and working out collabs for the new mixtape.
January 2008 Twinkiez has launched musical tracks with many artists around the US and prepared the Lyrically Impressive Vol.1 Mixtape. The mixtape started since late 2006 and produced in March 2008. Some of his hit tracks are for Free Download on myspace. You'll be able to download the whole mixtape on this myspace page soon! Post here for more updates.
