About Me

I always have trouble filling out profiles to my satisfaction - but I imagine just about everyone does. Here's the basics:
I'm...
the second oldest of four boysan art school graduate, still wondering what will become of my lifein love with Colin Meloy (of the Decemberists.)
But no one really cares about that. It's much more iteresting to read about the ecclectic stuff:
I really enjoy music, and am always looking for the next concert I might be attending.
I love warm rain, but sadly have had few opportunities to go out and play in it of late.
I quote movies frequently, and confuse my friends with obscure references.
My ringtone on my phone is "Mushaboom" by Feist. Feist is amazing.
Nap time is always on the agenda.
I live with my two best friends from college in a charming duplex, and I love it.
I hate the texture of flour on my skin (in particular my lips. :shudder:)
I have one tattoo - it's a design by Banksy on my back. (Don't know who Banksy is? Go google him.) I always thought I'd get a Calvin and Hobbes tattoo first, but I was wrong.I have a small patch of white hair on my left eyebrow that people frequently ask if I dyed. I didn't - the pigment there just went away a few years ago.
I love playing the piano. I finally got my own a few months ago.
If I see a newspaper stand with The Onion, I will grab a copy. No matter where or when.
Fall is by far the coolest season - and I think memories are tied to it so strongly because it's so specific, and fleeting.
I care about punctuation even in text messages.
I'm really awkward talking on the phone - even to some of my closest friends.
I have a cat. An orange tabby whom I named Toulouse.
I'm done.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ for sure. Not because I'm religious, but because I'd love to chat with him and set the record straight.Oh... on Myspace? People who have something interesting to say. If you like Edith Piaf, Banksy, David Sedaris, art, cooking, heck, even juggling midgets, let me know. If you've got passion about anything (the quirkier the better) let me know.

Xanga Entry: April 15, 2007 "Mass Production Gets Me Hot"

So I busted out the kit, and have pictures for you of my little brother and I doing some printing.  I would have pictures of the actual preparation of the screen (since that's the part that takes...

Xanga Entry: February 21, 2007 "A thought that genuinely crossed my mind today..."

Wouldn't it feel really cool to put a little bit of sugar water or nectar in your belly button, put a fake flower around it, and then lay outside on a summer day and have hummingbirds come probe at yo...

Xanga Entry: January 1, 2007 - "The biggest review I've ever written."

This seemed like a good idea, and fun to do.  That was a couple days ago.  By now I've spent hours on this entry.  It's taken over a course of three days to compile and finish to my sat...

Xanga Entry - December 6, 2006 "Shiny Links"

I don't know about you, but I've always been drawn to the dynamic look and feel of old fashioned typewriters. The skeletal quality of their design is so graceful... in an industrial way. Well, leav...

Xanga Entry: November 9, 2006 - "The Bunnies Are Us"

I had another dream last night that I got ahold of Adria.  They're getting more frequent lately.  It has now been almost five months since we've spoken. My own father voted against Referendu...

Xanga Entry: October 11, 2006

This weekend was beautiful.  Both for the physical grandure of the season, and also the refreshment of new experiences.  Watching golden leaves cascade from the branches of a deciduous arbor...

Xanga Entry: September 13, 2006

If my life amounts to somthing significant, and they want to make a movie out of it, then DAMMIT, it had better have a killer soundtrack. I saw this awhile back, and thought that it would be fun to d...

I've been keeping myself very busy (socially) with the end of summer looming ahead.  Last night my friend Bonnie and I went out to a few bars, met up with Jeff, Jerry, Ron, Rodney, and Jon, and d...
