Hey ya'll! This is Fredrik Lindell, from the fertile fields of southern Sweden and now living and loving the crazyness of Beijing!This is my alongside project and special someone: Patch, where I play all instruments, sing and produce all by my lonesome. Patch has actually even been played on the largest Swedish radio station. Thank you P3!Now I am here in Beijing to drum myself through every gig possible, and hopefully seem interesting, serious, mystic and unplausable while doing it. Is it working? Oh, who can tell? The giggin' - however - is fantastic.A day of life (yes, beatles reference ..1) in my life is working way too much, gigging through bands like The Submissionaries, 4 Corners, Casino Demon, Arrows Made of Desire, Winter Wars and now Wang Wei and Johnny Wadd , going to almost all concerts in Chao Yang district, missing pen-and-paper RPG, writing too few e-mails, buying too many CDs, actively promoting feminism leading to sometimes getting beaten down by assholes.
I don't have too much stuff online, but here is a short version of a gig with Arrows at D22, a Beijing club that features great indie bands and a stellar NY management. CBGB of Beijing. I love it.
Finally, before I let ya'll go, why not check out a slightly weird and noisy, sort of impromptu moment in a bar in Beijing located 20 meters from the west wall of the forbidden city. It is a crazy world out here ;)
Oh and one more... someone sent me this clip where I was standing up and playing the end of some Stand By Me cover. Haha! That night was lot of fun.
