Myspace Countdown or Myspace LayoutsI am interested in being the best human being I can be in this world. I am interested in meeting people who are kind and loving and leave their mark on this world and touch my heart and soul. Be memorable! Be real! My personal interests are marathon running, hiking, yoga, reading, music and movies. I have fallen in love with marathon training and running which has taught me great focus and discipline in my life! And it has revealed to me that with determination, perseverance and faith, you can do anything in this world! I ran the Los Angeles Marathon (March 2007), the San Diego Marathon (June 2007), the City Of Angels Half Marathon (December 2007) AND the Pasadena Half Marathon (December 2007). In my spare time, I love getting together with my friends and laughing, sharing, and creating new memories. Life is brilliant! Make every day count! We have been given an incredible blessing to be here on this planet. Let's enjoy every minute we have and be kind to one another.

I LOVE MUSIC! I change my profile song depending on the mood or feeling I am in or if I just love the song! My favorites bands are: Duran Duran (since I was a teenager), Train, Green Day, Nickelback, Hinder, Pink, Josh Groban, John Mayer, and Neil Diamond just to name a few. 80's music/bands rock! I love bands that rock and entertain. Also, a huge fan of Scarlett's Web (that's my girl Scarlett) and Violet Nine. I love new artists who are talented and gifted too. I love songs that really touch and move me.
Anything by John Hughes. "Pretty In Pink", "The Breakfast Club" and "Sixteen Candles" are just a few of my favorites by him. I loved "Enchanted", "Dan in Real Life" and "Lars and the Real Girl". So sweet! As a former professional dancer, I love musicals like "A Chorus Line" and "Chicago". "Flashdance" rocks! "Dirty Dancing" is hot! I also enjoy movies like "Crash" and "Bowling for Columbine" that leave you asking questions about the world we live in and how we can change it by just changing ourselves and our attitude. Make a statement. Make an impact. Make a difference.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
I love watching tv and some reality shows. If you can entertain me and make me laugh, I will be a loyal viewer. Favorite shows are: Boston Legal, Chuck, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Hot Shots with my guy Michael Vartan, Big Brother, American Idol, any dance reality show out there like Dancing with the Stars, So you Think You Can Dance, The Bachelor, Journeyman, Dirty Sexy Money and Brothers & Sisters.
I love to read. It's a wonderful escape from my busy day and the world around me. Great books like..."Eat, Love and Pray" by Elizabeth Gilbert, "Giving" by Bill Clinton, and Ellen Burstyn's book "Lessons in Becoming Myself". Also, James Frey is am amazing writer. Check out "Million Little Pieces" and "My Friend Leonard". Books about survival, strength, courage and the meaning of friendship. Other books I have enjoyed: "The DaVinci Code"; "It's Not About The Bike:My Journey Back To Life" and "Every Second Counts" by Lance Armstrong; "The Four Agreements"; "The Celestine Prophecy"; "Let's Roll" by the wife of United Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer; "The Locklear Letters" by a wonderful author and friend Michael Kun; "The Art of Happiness" or really any book by the Dalai Lama; "Love Smart" by Dr. Phil, "In The Meantime" or "He's Just Not That Into You" (great books for dating); and light-hearted and humorous books by Ellen DeGeneres and Jerry Seinfeld. I love to read! Expand you mind and set yourself free.
My heroes are people who I have admired for their contribution to our society through the arts or politics and by just using their voice or imagination and creativity like the Dalai Lama, Bob Fosse, Nelson Mandela, Deeprak Chopra, Ghandi, Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey are just a few that have made a difference to me. Sometimes it's an everyday person that I hear about that has done something incredible with their life and has influenced me to want to be a better me. Why be a second rate someone else? Be a first rate you! Remember, there is only one of us walking this great planet. This is your only chance to make a difference.
