Hmmmm. well I'm 19, I go to Oregon State University and I'm there on a NROTC scholarship. That basically means that the Marines thought it'd be a good idea that I go to college and earn a commission in the USMC (meaning I'll be an officer when I graduate). Now that thats out of the way, I guess I should tell you about myself, since this is the "about me" section. I'm 5'11" I love sports (no duh huh? I'm a dude) anyways I love to run, like serious long distance races like marathons. I've done a few and they're fun. Except I'm kind of bored of running so a few of my good buddies are helping me train for a triathlon. Yep right now you're thinking I'm crazy but just keep on a readin'. Alright, so nows the part where you're thinking to yourself, "why am I reading this?" I'll tell you why, cause your probably bored sitting in some stupid lecture hall, and checking your myspace, like I do when I'm bored in class. To continue, I love to work out, not the crazy Arnold Schwarzenegger type lifters I just like to kick it in the gym. Other than that with 19 credits this term I have no life, I just sit at my house and eat, sleep and study, if I have any free time you will find me pounding the pavement or at Dixon Rec. swimming or lifting. hmmm. what else. If I have the time I'll make some ridiculously good meal at my house because a good meal makes my day great. Yes I know, contrary to popular belief, Pat can cook. Well, I'm pretty sure you're probably still thinking why you're reading this and it's still the same reason as before. Don't try and play it off like you actually want to know this stuff but for posterity's sake I'll keep on writing. My major is History cause I can write pretty well, and the only other reason that it's my major is because I had a bunch of history credits from high school that transfered over to OSU. But I really do like studying history, but some of the professors really know how to put me asleep. I am originally from Salt Lake City and oh wait, I have to say this because everyone always asks, I'M NOT MORMON!!!! Now that we have established that, let me continue. I actually liked growing up there, SLC is an awesome place to live, especially in the winter when I only have to drive for about 45 minutes from my home and be on the top of the mountain snow boarding. Yep, awesome resorts, kind of expensive but worth it. But I do have to say the reason I went to OSU is to escape Utah. The state can be a little crazy cause of all the mo's, and I wanted a change of scenerary, plus I'm far from the folks and its good to get away for a while. I'm not huge on the family, in a way. I like em, but I don't have to always be there, and we all get along. It's not really a love hate thing, I just don't have a huge thing for family stuff.
