designs, musics, photographies, relaxing, sunny days in parks, conversations that last hours longer than expected, spending days without my cell phone
Someone that'll push me forward when I stand still.
Hip Hop is in heavy rotation. Jay-Z, Biggie, and Dr. Dre all the way to my favs including Common, the Roots, MF Doom, Madlib and Lord Quas, Mighty Most Def, my new favorite K-Os (sick sick sick), O.C., EPMD, Emanon (never knew they were so good), Slum Village, and of course meanering into soul with the likes of Dwele (Rize EP!), Roy ayers, and new stuff from Van Hunt, etc. Basically if it's on chocolate City (favorite show on KCRW), then it's in my box. I'm really into Antibalas and Fela Kuti right now ... who doesn't love 10+ people on stage gettin' down? Of course I listen to a lot of indie stuff too, but I'm sick of typing ....
