my photography info
i'm not at all against taking photos for you as long as you're in the area. whether you're a band or just yourself. i know how hard it is for students and other artists out there. i don't make much money (none at all actually) but we could work something out. i need more experience and you need photos. =)
i hope to advance my knowledge and talents in photography in the next few years. i hope to make it a passion of mine and to speak through photography instead of taking photos of pointless images. i believe an effective photograph can make one feel the image as though it were speaking to them. a photograph should be able to tell a thousand words or express itself as well as a film or song. hopefully with the encouragement of my peers, i'll work my way to the top. even if i never make it professionally, i hope to use my talents to help others.
teaching is another passion of mine. if my future doesn't involve working for a studio or magazine then i hope my future has me teaching high school kids the freedom or expression and creativity through art. if anything i think kids should learn to be as creative and expressive as possible before being pushed into the corporate world i so often see my friends and peers go into.
i am a student at Ontario College of Art and Design. i'm not going to be a doctor, a lawyer or a business entrepreneur. i'll leave that to my best friends, zhangie, houbag and evoo. they can trade me at the chinese market for another kid. one that can calculate mathematics and cure cancer. i'll be out photographing nude girls and fashion icons.
i got my first taste of photography at the age of 10. i used my moms old camera from the 60's. sadly, they never turned out. so i put away the camera. a few years later, when i was 12, i was reunited with a 35mm SLR camera. being a hyperactive kid, i lost interest but always longed to pick it up again. grade 11 arrived and i enrolled in my high school's photography class and have been printing black and white photos until this year, where we started up on digital cameras.
i use a sexy Canon S3 IS. i'm pretty much a newbie at exploring new angles and subjects. bear with the amateur pics. i use a lot of photoshop to explore and play around with the photos i take. i'm attemping to use less photoshop and keep things more real now that i've got my great new camera!
any sort of advice, criticism, hate, love is much appreciated.

what everyone wants to know about the cougar
i am a huge lover of tattoos and piercings. which means i love boys and girls with both. i'm not a big fan of off the wall tattoos. sometimes you need a little originality or something to call your own. one of these days TORIA's artwork is going to be inked on the right side of my ribs. a dragon and phoenix on the other. a koi fish wrapped around my side and a chest piece with psalm 34:18 over my heart. am i going all out? you bet i am.
i'm a huge and i mean HUGE fan of the SUICIDE GIRLS . i think they're original, entertaining and represent a whole different side of beauty. you don't have to be barbie to be hot.
my friend CAIT is a suicide girl. i will be taking her future sets but in the mean time we do a damned fine job when we're smashed.
marina is my muse on a daily basis for fashion inspiration. a jew and an asian make a great couple. soon i'll be taking a few new sets. and this time there will be boys. what? boys? really. a few friends, justin and EEan agreed to be my puppets.
i like harry potter, xmen and spiderman. the grossest thing i ever ate for lunch was rice, burger meat, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish mixed in one bowl because no one would feed me. sometimes i jam to the backstreet boys or alanis morissette. i sleep to classical music. i secretly enjoy chinese fan dancing and i like winter better than summer because my greatest fear is sweat, after high waisty. rudeness is not an excuse to wear high waist, tapered pants. stuffing brushes and combs in your pockets doesn't make you sheriff waisty.
i think alcohol is bad and sex is immoral so don't mind me while finish this bottle of whiskey and do the dirty with this short puerto rican from cosmos. i'll take a nap on the polar bear while i give you Morehead and then we can threaten each other with peanut butter knives and eat cinnoman hearts off each others chests. $11.50 for a strip dance was almost worth it because we were together. next time, i'll drive.
i like living in a colourless world because what's the point ..ing rainbows when all you see is grey? my world is black and white and sometimes grey. the people i love are the people who make me see the colours hidden in the shadows. i love you
people generally annoy me and yes, i get into moods where i curse the world and everyone living in it. some days i'm not afraid to speak my mind and when i do, i can be frightening. i'm intolerable but i guess not enough if i still have my dopple gangers.
the day you left was so sad, even the skies rained tears. for 3 days and nights it was cold and damp.
