live music is THE number one thing (either going to shows or the sittin around thing with friends making music - even though I don't play a thing), Falcons football, grilling out, running, disk golf, tennis, camping, rock climbing, skating, cooking, chillin, gardening, working (no kidding), or just about anything that involves good friends or being outside
Jesus in heaven one day (not too soon)
Far and away my favorite band is Widespread Panic. I have seen them over 100 times. That may seem completely absurd if you have never seen them, and if you have well, hey, we are probably friends already and you know exactly what's up. I like all kinds of music but my favorite bands are like jam bands, classic rock, southern rock, roots, reggae, funk and the like. So in no particular order: the Allman Brothers Band, the String Cheese Incident, Mana, moe., the Grateful Dead, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, the Drive by Truckers, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, mofro, Jerry Joseph and the Jack Mormans, Dubconscious, Outformation, Galactic, the Moody Blues, the Beatles, Zepplin, the Roots, Jarassic 5, Marvin Gaye, Robert Walter, Karl Denson, MMW, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Gov't Mule, NMAS, Skynard, Stevie Wonder, SRV, DMB, the Derek Trucks Band, Burning Spear, Umphey's McGee, gee whiz... there is a whole lot more so that will do for now...
Well, movies are okay. I actually like to sleep through them. I do have 2 favorites: Reservoir Dogs and the Princess Bride. Pretty different I know, but whatever. Also like Stanley Kubrick films, war movies and a lot of old b&w movies. By the way - do not see Snakes on a Plane. NO. Very, very bad.
the Falcons, Family Guy, that 70's Show, King of the Hill, M*A*S*H, the Wonder Years, Northern Exposure, This Old House, and anything on ESPN, the History Channel, the Food Network, AMC, and some stuff on PBS.
My favorite book is the Bible. I love Tom Clancy novels, also into Stephen King, Nora Roberts, and books like Wild at Heart. And I really like books written by guys in the CCC movement like Ps Phil Pringle, Ps Simon McIntire, and Ps Dean Sweetman.
Hmmm... That is a tough one. I really look up to the lead pastor at my church because he kind of got the whole movement going here in America (long story). Also the late Micheal Houser. He was the cofounder and namesake of Widespread Panic. He passed on August 10, 2002, but he played onstage with dignity and courage up until one month before he died of pancreatic cancer (another long story).
