Equally influenced by the grounding force of their Tennessee upbringings and the sonic playground of the Murfreesboro music scene, Reindeer Armies’ music constantly strives to straddle the gaps in between: of melody and noise, of sincerity and swagger, of Bud Light and LSD; creating a highly energetic, guitar heavy brand of modern rock with an appreciation for both a good hook and a lot of noise. Lyrically, the songs meander through the musings of a group of small-town Tennessee natives; at once at odds with and in awe of their upbringings: songs filled with small town cops, discontent, housewives, adultery, and other, as juicy, topics. All that matters in rock and roll is putting music out there that you love to play: Reindeer Armies prefers the honest, interesting, and charismatic variety in the vein of bands such as Constantines, The Foo Fighters, and Chavez. There's not a damn thing in the world more exciting than a rock and roll show and Reindeer Armies just wants to prove it.
