About Me
About the man:
I am a piano student of ten years, with four years of musical composition experience. Piano instructors to this point, have included Doris Bland, and Paulette Pruitt. I have experience with the piano, organ, and a variety of keyboards, as well as various musical software, such as Finale 2006, Fruity Loops, Audacity, Midisoft Studio, and Cakewalk Music Creator.
I plan to study in music performance and composition in college, preferably at a major music school, such as Julliard or Curtis, presuming of course, that other major opportunities do not arise prior.
I am the ex-keyboardist for the band 'Self Distorted Image', fondly known as Mr. Fabulous, to adoring fans. Also, I am currently in the process of organizing a new musical project with members from both 'The Facts', and 'Self Distorted Image'.

About the music:
The first piece, The Black March, is an entirely original score, constructed in about two hours, is the newest highlight of my musical showcase. Words can't really describe my feelings on this work, and the only thing I really have to add-- Enjoy. Arrangement was completed in roughly two hours, was performed on the 'Yamaha DGX-500 Digital Grand Piano', and converted from MIDI to MP3, via soundfonts.
The second piece provided, is a tribute to Joe Hamell and his piece 'The Lonely Man'. My arrangement of the piece, as with all of my work, was done by hand, note by note, until a desirable result was achieved. The piece is considerably up-tempo, and more technically complex than the original piece, but I hope to have captured the essence of the original work. Arrangement was completed in less than twenty four hours, was performed on the 'Yamaha DGX-500 Digital Grand Piano', and converted from MIDI to MP3, via soundfonts.
The third piece, is a three-part tribute to the works of Yoko Kanno, building with a fiery interpretation of the melody used in 'Gravity', flowing into a riff of some of my original experimental work, and concludes by a merging the two together, and bringing the piece to a close. The piece is rather avant garde, and perhaps best demonstrates the sense of complexity involved in some of my original pieces. Arrangement was completed in less than twelve hours, was performed on the 'Yamaha DGX-500', and converted from MIDI to MP3, via soundfonts.
The fourth piece, is an example of entirely original work, it's less technical than some of my other pieces, but also a demonstration of work done in a very short amount of time. Arrangement was completed in less than an hour, was performed on the 'Yamaha DGX-500', and converted from MIDI to MP3, via soundfonts.
