About Me

For those of you who don't know, I'm a writer/poet and The Strongest Element is my first book of many more to come! It's available at your local bookstores nationwide as well as with online bookstores such as Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com , and Books-A-Million. It's also available at Target!
I fell in love with writing short stories while attending middle school in Georgia, but my passion for poetry didn't ignite until several years later. It was in 1999 that I conceived my first poem. After having written only three poems, I knew that a book was to come, the book and journey that we now know as The Strongest Element. You'll find that it reads like a novel and prayerfully it'll inspire and encourage your soul. You may lose your way, fall down, search and struggle, but there's a light and love inside of you that is able to overcome any storm and lead you home...triumphantly!
The Strongest Element: Love's Survival is a collection of poems that journal a naive and sheltered young woman's journey in life and love. It's a poetic story filled with bold truths, bittersweet emotions, and a naked soul exposed. This is a testament to the maturation and strength of love and spirit through a storm that most thought would destroy. But, in the end, love remained the strongest element.
