Great Battalion

Great Battalion are originated from London, England. They emerged on the UK Hip-Hop scene by independently releasing several mix tapes.The groups founding members are Aristocrat AKA The Uk's Ambassador and Karma AKA The Foreign Exchange who both grew up on the streets of west London.In 2003 they founded Solar Success Ent (Distribution), creating an outlet for independent musicians to have there music distributed on major online stores worldwide.In 2005 the two made a bold decision to move to Los Angeles just after releasing "The Goodfellas" mix tape, which generated a following on the streets and provided them with their platform.Having been influenced by the likes of great musicians from Jamiroquai to Mos Def and Big Loyd to name a few and inspired by entrepreneurs like Richard Branson, Russel Simmons, Doug Morris and Daniel Glass, Great Battalion are out to make their mark among the next generation of artists and entrepreneurs.Their music is a combination of sharp vocals, hard hitting lyrics and intricate hooks all which capture an emotion.During the 'Love it or Hate Show' on a Los Angeles based radio station K DAY, Great Battalion received a 72% vote from listeners calling in to support their anthem 'You Can't Stop Me!'.Great Battalion are currently working on their debut album entitled "The British Invasion" as they plan to recreate the success and huge impact of the "Beetles" in the United States.
