Rehearsal Rooms
Room-Two Music and Arts Studios feaures four spacious and fully equiped rehearsal rooms available for hire. Every effort has been made to ensure the rooms have a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere as well as great acoustics - and with free parking right outside the front door, you won't find a better place for your band to rehearse. Each room features a high spec vocal PA system with microphones and stands. Included in the price is the use of a drum kit, keyboard, 2 guitar amps and a bass amp, so there is no need drag your heavy gear along if you don't feel like it, and it means the price you see is the price you pay, with no hidden extras. Drummers are asked to bring their own cymbals and snare drum, but hardware, toms and bass drum are provided.

Room-Two works closely with professional musicians to offer high quality musical tuition. At present we provide tuition for:

Our tutors are highly accomplished in thier fields and regularly perform in front of audiences in the North-East. Lessons take place in the recording studio and the recording equipment is used to help students to critically evaluate themselves and recognise improvement in their abilities.
Students will be taught through learning songs that appeal to them, which is essential in order to maintain motivation. So whatever styles of music you like, Room-Two will help you play or sing along with your favourite songs. And with 100% of all music exams taken through Room-Two being awarded a distinction, you know that our tuition is of the highest standard.
Recording Studio
Room-Two is equiped with a custom built recording studio which will meet the needs of many bands and artists looking to produce high quality recordings. Recorded and produced by an experienced professional sound engineer, you can have a professional quailty CD of your band.Room-Two has recorded and produced CDs for solo artists, duets, trios and everything else up medium and large scale orchestras and choirs. And if getting to the studio is a problem, Room-Two can arrange to record on location allowing you maximum flexibility and convenience.Recording rates start at £30/hour, with the first mix done at no extra cost, so you get your recording turned it into something to be proud of no matter what your budget.
