Trust Management is a music management company that was established in 2003 by Dave Cronen who decided to "defect to the other side" after working for various labels (Grand Royal/Beastie Boys, ARTISTdirect, iMusic, PIAS Recordings) and distributors (Rough Trade Distribution, RTM, Pinnacle). In the same year Nigel Templeman had returned to the UK after living in LA and had previously worked as marketing manager for London Records and Arista, ran a successful management company ETC (Les Rythmes Digitales, Smoke City, JTQ & Coldcut) as well as having opened the largest record shop in the world Tower Records in Piccadilly. The two were introduced to each other by mutual friend Johnny Marr and have been working together ever since.
The company policy is built on trust (hence the name), enthusiasm, dedication, commitment and fun with the artists and each other. We like to think that we work in a different way to most other management companies. Our ambition is to work with like-minded bands and artists with whom we can build a whole team around and move forward together in a natural way. In October 2008 the company formed a partnership with SuperVision Management to form SuperVision Trust Management and are based in the Mama Group offices in East London.
