What's up my space. Well, my name is Shavonda and I am the Founder and CEO of HIP HOP CULTURE, an organization that began at the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and has since gained notoriety and has expanded throughout the state of Texas and the United States. Hip Hop culture is dedicated in strengthening, educating and uniting the community through all aspects of Hip Hop. Hip Hop Culture hosts events such as Lyrical Odyssey (poetry) and the Texas Talent Showcase (a yearly talent showcase for local artists with a $1,000 grand prize). Hip Hop Culture also has a dance team that is well known for its unique moves and incredibly talented dances. The dance team has danced for major companies such as IBM. As of this year HIP HOP CULTURE is expanding even further. We are tapping into promotions and have built business relationships with artists and businesses who have enlisted us to help find venues, models, dancers, singers, rappers, poets, and any other talents that encompasses the culture of Hip Hop.
