Jay Lewis is an artist, producer and musician with an intense heart for God and has the awesome ability to reach all who listen to his songs, “right where they areâ€.
Jay has also coupled his producing and singing with his comedic side. He whole-heartedly feels that joy and laughter are essential elements to life. He currently travels with his comedy group of singers and musicians as “Nate and The Chocolate Wondersâ€, fulfilling his passion and natural ability to connect with an audience and make them laugh.Jay has shared the stage and/or provided background vocals for artist such as Kirk Franklin, Donnie McKlurkin, Fred Hammond, Nancy Wilson, Darryl Coley, Karen Clark Shierd, Christopher Lewis, Twinkie Clark Terrell, John P. Kee and many others. He has been the unsung hero for other artists in a number of musical projects wherein he has provided assistance in the areas of production, writing, arranging and/or consulting.There have been many influences in his life that have shaped his focus and sound. Pain and Adversity have been major contributors. Jay continues to thank God for these two, now that he has had first hand experience in knowing that these two only come to make you STRONG.
