There are many things that captivate my interest. I love challenging games, sports, whatever....even though I am not one of those competitive freaks who must win at all costs. I love sports, I always have and I always will. From baseball on down I am usually interested, except for hockey and soccer...I just don't do those. I will say right now I am an obsessed Minnesota Twins fan. I can tell you on any given day who they are playing, what the score is and how they scored.I love to play board games. I can probably beat you at pool. Disc Golf, real golf, tennis, video games, trvia, shuffleboard and yes even darts. Can we add my new favorite interest Guitar Hero in here? Yeah, I get my ass kicked regularly, but it's fun!
I love food even though I don't enjoy cooking, unless it's with the BBQ. I have a passion for playing poker...there is so much unseen skill it is uncanny. Although I have no musical talent whatsoever...I love music. I very much enjoy being with friends, and yet I love to be alone. I love to laugh and like anything funny.
I love to socialize, I enjoy drinking and just BSing. I love to travel and want to see the world. I love having money, even though I usually do not have much of it.
I want to meet Doug Funnie, that kid had a good head on his shoulders. If you are interested in meeting me, chances are I am interested in meeting you, I am a fairly open person. I like interested people.
There are soo many bands I like I just cannot name them all, but here are some......Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Yellowcard, Matchbox 20, Sugarcult, Our Lady Peace, Rascall Flatts, Low Millions, Collective Soul, Green Day, Everclear, Hey Mercedes, My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach, Taking Back Sunday, Taproot, Juliana Theory, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Incubus, Dashboard Confessional
I could never name my favorite band, it changes by day and night and by my mood.
If I had to list my favorite bands right now I would say (in no particular order)::
1) Foo Fighters
2) Incubus
3) Red Hot Chilli Peppers
I am a big fan of movies, whether it be comedy, drama, horror to the ocassion chick flick. These are the movies I would watch anyday of the week: they are just that good in their own way: Tommy Boy, The Matrix, Field of Dreams, The Sandlot, Boiler Room, Serendipity, Enemy of the State, Garden State, Major League, Supertroopers, Love Actually, Goodfellas, Little Big League, Club Dread, Screwed, Sin City, Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Back to the Future ....
Bad Movies that are so bad they are awesome! Snake Island, Miner's Massacre, Boogie Boy, Chopping Mall, Universal Soldier: The Return, Surburbia, Soldier, Dr. Chopper. The Butcher.........many more coming soon.
I love to watch TV, so many interesting and attention grabbing shows on. It's too bad I don't have time to watch more. Of the shows out there that I like include:Sportscenter (If I could only watch 1 show for the rest of my life everyday, it would be this one), The Amazing Race (By far the best reality TV show out there), Seinfeld (Hands down my all time favorite show), Family Guy (Pure comical genious), The OC (Oh come on, ridiculous plot and some hot chicks, what's wrong with that?), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (It's funny), The West Wing (I could care less about politics yet usually I can't get enough of this show, that just shows how well written it really is), Friends (It had it's moments....and Jennifer Aniston), Legends of the Hidden Temple (Possibly the greatest game show ever?), Entourage and Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Great shows, thanks Brock)
I wish I had more time for reading. It seems like with the internet there is always something more productive to be looking up (Myspace - haha) than reading. If I do start and get into a book though, I cannot put it down. I love reading novels by John Grisham. Other favorite authors John Steinbeck, George Orwell and R.L Stine. Gotta love those Goosebumps books. Some of my favorite books include Catcher in the Rye, Fairenheit 451, The Testament, The Da Vinci Code (great read).......and any travel book to the place where I might be going next.
My reading usually comes from Sports Illistrated or Fortune.
Dane Cook, Will Ferrell, Jerry Seinfeld
These guys dedicate their life to making people laugh, something I will always respect.
