I am here for Friends

About Me

The six burner is my altar and the kitchen is my sanctuary. I create. I share. I teach. Some call me chef, some call me Keith. Those who know me call me friend.Curious? Send me a message. Hungry? Check out www.holysmokephilly.com. or www.chefkeithtaylor.com Rules? Show me yours and I'll show you...Today? I am married to my newest restaurant. That said... I'm just here staying in touch with old friends and meeting new people. This could take weeks, check back later if you're really interested...I'm in the middle of building/staffing and enjoying all the perks and challenges my newest restaurant, Holy Smoke / Bar, Restaurant & BBQ.Oh yeah...I have little faith in government, even less faith in due process and I am convinced that there is way more to 9/11 than we really know (or that is really reported). Thank God change is in motion and I believe in the power of people engaging our government...Obama or any president for that matter cannot do it alone! If you have ever questioned the truth about 9/11, why we are so deep in the middle east that we're choosing oil over milk as a priority, contact me (there's a lot of shit in the game and it sometimes saddens me that we're too caught up to be be too concerned.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The late Patrick Clark (the most notable chef as far as I am concerned to ever head the kitchens at Tavern on the Green), Dan Thomas (a prick of a chef when I was at Disney who said I would never make it when I tendered my resignation), Monique Mills (because she by far was the most incredible woman ever in my life and Lord knows I never grew up until long after she saw I was way too slow on the developmental scale) JWMKT (you know who you are), Lenny Henry (I really want to meet the guy that people say I act, sound and look like)Oh...that was a wish list?!?Realistically, as long as you don't take yourself too seriously...then you can make the "I'd like to meet" list.Okay, Stephen Hillenburg too, there are some spot-on comedic portrayals of the restaurant business that his little show does that rival the work of Lenny Henry on BBC's Chef!

The train is rolling now, the artists are in the mix and the live jazz & blues is taking a life of it's own.
