My Interests

Identity, archetypes, Jungian psychology, installation art, performance art, sculpture, drawing, slip casting, Banks Violette, Cory Arcangel, Sue de Beer, David Altmejd, John Bock, Marc Swanson, Marcel Duchamp.Other likes: pub culture, community, raw bar, GOOD beer--not Bud, Miller, PBR, etc; those are crap. But then, if that's what you've got, I'll choke a few down. Whiskey, gin, cigars, camping, NYC, London, Berlin, Prague, Boston Terriers (I don't have one now, but hopefully someday), long legs in fishnet stockings, carnivorous plants, fitness, and real pit barbeque. Yeah, I know those're incongruent. Speaking of barbeque, don't confuse barbeque with grilled food. Grilling is what you do to burgers, dogs and small cuts of meat, directly over high heat (350*F+) for just a few minutes. Barbeque, on the other hand, is large cuts of meat, like briskets, roasts, racks of ribs, and whole chickens, cooked with indirect heat and smoke at lower temperatures (210-225*F) for six to twenty-four hours. The results are vastly different. Grilling takes some skill, and can yield fine results, but barbeque is an art form. If you can't wrap your mind around this, you haven't tasted good barbeque.I don't like: Republicans driven by their idea of Biblical morality, arrogance, competitive eating, "bling", those who want to beat up people based on race or haircut, or myspace default pics that are only a shirtless buff torso, or a big ass. Also, sunbathers have got it wrong.

I'd like to meet:

Working artists, people who wanna put my art in their space. Those living in and around NYC; we've the possibility of becoming friends in the real world someday. Also, people from in and around London, Berlin, and Prague. Those are my favorite places. The places I'd like to return to again and again. Also, since this is a wish list, Juliette Lewis (when she's performing with The Licks, Deborah Harry (c. 1974), Iggy, Karen O, "Trash" from The Return Of The Living Dead, Harvey, Dick Slammer, Bill Brasky, Santanico Pandemonium, Vampirella, remember Benny Hill? OK, remember "Hill's Angels"? Yeah.

Music:

Which fucked-up genius composer are you?
Shane MacGowan... unconsciously brilliant. You can intelligently debate any topic from theology, history, literature and philosphy... though only while you're out of your skull on booze.
