Influences: Murcof, aphex twin, Lisa Gerrard, Massive Attack, the wind coming through the door, Peter Gabriel and much of his Real World artists such as Jocelyn Pook, Sheila Chandra, Afro Celt soundsystem. Ryuichi Sakamoto, Boom Bip, Tool, A Perfect Circle, wondering when wondering ever stops, feeling, trying not to feel and forever minding the gaps.Float Method is inspired by leaves waving in the wind to the man on the bench that thinks the bus is coming but never really does- a girl talking french in a dream to a four foot giraffe that knows when the winter comes that he too will delete the sun that was captured by the moon- stillness, silence, nonsense, beauty blistering bathing totally still floating backwards as if from within to where no one will ever know.
Sounds Like: Ambient soundscapes swirling in a coffee cup that was sucked from a nanosphere of swamped light, ambient ambience of a croaked belly turned flat to face the sun in its final phase of digesting matter that matters not to whom that may not know.
